For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Greetings everyone! It is once again a beautiful day. Yesterday was mainly sunny with a temperature of 52F (11C), which for us this time of year is fantastic! The snow is really melting out there again today, the street is wet from the melting snow, the ground is showing where snow covered everything just a couple days ago.
In other words, it looks and feels just like spring. That would sure be nice, but we know differently here in the north. Weather like this can happen sometimes, but it can also turn cold and bring in more snowstorms right after the nice weather. It is supposed to cool off by the weekend, though no large snowstorms are in the forecast. We will just have to wait and see what happens.

In the mean time we shall enjoy this beautiful spring weather. There is a large window at the end of our hallway, just past my door. Mine is the last apartment along this section of hall. Anyway, I often stand there looking out over the town, but never see anything exciting, mostly ravens, crows and pigeons.
Once I spotted an eagle flying around, but it was too far away for a good photo. Yesterday one of the workers in our building stopped in to talk for a while. The other day she happened to look out that same window and saw an eagle sitting on top of the apartment building next to this one, so she took a picture of it with her phone.

She didn’t know at the time that I would be interested in something like that. Sigh. All that time I spend looking out that window. Amazing. Oh well, it might happen again and hopefully I will see it and get a photo of it.
Unfortunately it would be through a window which is never the best, but still, it would be nice anyway. This warm weather could start bringing birds back from the south, but hopefully that doesn’t happen too much.

It is too early yet and what usually happens is that birds arrive too soon and then the weather turns bad again which ends up killing those birds. But, what happens will happen if it happens when it happens. Well, guess I should head out for my daily walk. Have a wonderful day and God bless!

Always a blessing to catch up with you Steve. I enjoyed an early morning walk today, but I am hoping to take my camera later in the week when I visit a nearby nature park.
