Coffee on Thursday! #2

A very good morning to all of you on this cloudy and cool Thursday! Time to grab a cup of coffee and relax for a few minutes. I could hear several robins singing from the tree tops this morning. Plus there were other species of birds chirping and singing too. Grackles were around calling to one another.

It looked like rain in the distance and now it appears to be getting closer. It is quite windy out there too and much cooler than it has been. But it will start warming up again on the weekend, though not as warm as what we had. Hmm, I see that light rain has finally made it over here now. It looks rather dreary out there right now.

But inside as I enjoy my cup of coffee, it is nice and cozy. Muffin agrees as she stretches out in her favorite chair. Two bright red and one bright pink geranium are blooming now giving a boost of color to the room from their window perch. There is also a lavender colored African violet in full bloom right now as well. It is cleaning day again.

Time to vacuum the living room, wash the floor in the kitchen and hallway, plus do some dusting. There is always a lot of dusting to do in here, mainly because I have a lot of stuff, so I split it up so I do not have to do it all on one day. That would keep me busy for an entire day. I do not mind it though, really I don’t. I like having all this stuff so dusting is just something that needs to be done.

Muffin tries helping sometimes, as I have mentioned before. She swishes her tail around and slaps the dust into my face. I am sure she laughs when she does that. Sigh. But she tries. I think. But not too often, gives me a headache. Did you catch that? Okay, not one of my better jokes. However, I do not think I have any better jokes. Oh well.

Anyway, I am showing some more birds that have been returning now, although one of them is not likely back yet, but it will be soon. I see they are actually calling for an inch of snow tomorrow. We shall see. Thank you for stopping by for coffee today, have a wonderful Thursday and God bless!
