For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Hello once again everyone! It is starting to look a lot more like winter all the time. And a lot more like Christmas too. Personally I would prefer not to have any snow at Christmas, but that’s just me. We have had only about 6 inches of snow so far.
But it is snowing right now and we are supposed to get another 8 inches of snow overnight and into tomorrow. Still not that much really. The southern portion of our province is still getting much more snow that us. Which is fine. It also melts a lot faster down there. Well, our lake is beginning to freeze now.

Another view of the small bay of our lake. The building on the left, under the branches of the spruce tree, is our hospital, which is located on an island.
The bay, shown in today’s photo, is mostly frozen today, though I definitely would not want to walk on that ice. But this northern end of the lake never freezes that solidly anyway, not even on the coldest of winters. Well, I hope you all have a great Sunday and God bless!
Steve and Muffin.

Steve, I welcome your photos. We’ve been waiting for winter to paint our landscape with a blanket of white. Patience is generally needed to experience anything like what you see outside right now.

I’m glad you enjoyed the winter photos Richard. I will be showing them every Sunday. We managed to get another 8 inches on Monday, so it is looking a lot whiter now. Unfortunately, the cold is preventing me from going outside to get more pictures right now. It was -30F this morning and windy!π₯Άππ·βοΈ
