For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Hi again everyone! Wow, hard to believe that it’s the last day of September already. Some trees are starting to change color, bringing out their beautiful, bright yellows and golds, with a few reds and oranges mixed in as well. Plus, of course, the greens of the coniferous trees that stay with us all year.
But, some trees are already bare, leaves have long fallen to the ground, exposing their branches for all to see. And some trees are still green, their leaves have not even begun to change color yet. Oh well, it won’t be long now. Today I am showing one of my many photos of our White Pelicans, with one of them looking right at me.

A small group of White Pelicans enjoying some sun on the rocky shore of our river.
Trying to figure out what I’m doing, I guess. I didn’t even see any this year, I think that’s a first since I have been living in this town. They have flown south for the winter already, they actually leave us quite early. I hope you enjoy the picture. Have a great day and God bless!
