For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Happy Sunday everyone! We have heavy, dark clouds over us today, actually it began last night with thunderstorms that produced non-stop lightning. I mean, there were no breaks in that lightning, it just kept on and on. It was just beautiful to watch. And of course it rained. And rained. It is still raining. It does stop briefly, but then starts up again, sometimes with amazing, heavy downpours of rain.
So, there is a lot of water laying around in places now. But, we needed some rain again, and it’s certainly better than getting snow. And we can get snow this time of the year. Snow that stays until the following spring. So, rain is okay. Unfortunately, it is knocking all those leaves off the trees. So much for getting some nice fall pictures this week. Oh well.

White Peony
Today I’m showing a slightly older photo, that I don’t think I have used before, a beautiful, white peony. This flower is nearly 8 inches (nearly 20 cm) across. Well, I hope you all have a wonderful day and week ahead, God bless!

Thank you so much! Yep, we’re okay, lots of water around, we lost our electricity for a while, but nothing serious. But it sure got cold suddenly, only 7C today after a week of record high temperatures. Nice to see you Ribana!ππ»ππ
