For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Hi again everyone! I hope you are all doing well and having a wonderful time today! It’s a rather cold day here, and cloudy once again, but that is quite typical for the month of December in our area. So, it’s nice to look at some pictures that make me feel warmer, like pictures of summer. Or summer flowers. Or in this post, summer birds. Although today’s picture is actually more of a spring picture, from the month of May to be exact.

Today’s bird is a male Rose-breasted Grosbeak.
They can be attracted to feeders when they first arrive, but once nesting begins, then they tend to stay more hidden away in the forest. I hope you enjoy today’s bird photo, have a great day and God bless!

Hiya….I do not have your regular email.
We lost our sweet Indianna last night. She was 18 1/2.

Send me an email through my contact page, then I can send you my email.
Muffin will be 16 in 12 days, but she’s not doing good and I don’t expect her to be around much longer.
Have a great day! 😊😺☕☕❄️

Yep, they truly are a beautiful bird. The female looks like a large brown sparrow. These birds have a beautiful song too. 😊😺☕☕❄️
