Natural Beauty.

Hi everyone! Thought I would share this photo with you all. I was sorting through some more of my photos and came across this one. I have shown similar photos before, but this one with the darker background and yet with the sun shining on the seedhead, really made it stand out so nicely.

This is the seedhead of the Canada Hawkweed, one of our wildflowers. I wish they wouldn’t put “weed” in the name though, it makes people think it’s an undesirable weed, when it’s actually a native wildflower.
