For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Greetings everyone! Well, it’s a bit warmer today than it has been the last couple of days. Not that it’s warm exactly, just warmer. Yesterday’s high was an amazing temperature of just 39F (4C), considerably below normal for this time of year. Right now it is 46F (8C), which is still below normal. Hard to believe it’s this cold on the first day of May. The birds have been returning in large numbers and yesterday I was out taking photos at a couple different locations. Today’s photo is from the first location we stopped at. Usually there are pelicans here, but there were none yesterday, unfortunately.

A stream tumbling down some rocks and into a small bay.
But, I did get some nice pics of gulls and some ducks. I will be sharing more photos in the next few days. It was kind of cold and my hands finally got so cold I couldn’t take pics any longer. At one location, the last one, I was sitting on a large rock to steady myself for some photos of a loon, but I slid off, hurting my back, right arm and shoulder, which are still bothering me today. Sigh. And the photos didn’t turn out very good either. Oh well. Things happen. I hope you all have a great weekend and God bless!
