For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Hello everyone! I’m back with more May photos from my last trip out. Today we have some of our more common ducks, which unfortunately got scared when I got out of the car and began to swim away. So, they were further away from me than I had hoped they would be. Sigh. These things happen.
It was a slightly disappointing day for photos that day, but thankfully I did get some pictures to share with you. I still have some others as well which I will be sharing this week. More and more birds are returning from the south, some are much later than normal and others are just later than normal.

But they are returning and the mornings are filled with beautiful bird songs beginning while it is still dark. I love this time of year, which I refer to as our snow free season which stretches from spring through fall. That’s the season that I love, from spring through fall.

I think we might miss our typical spring and just jump right into summer. Which is fine. I don’t mind that at all. The latest summer forecast for us is for warmer than normal temperatures and wetter than normal as well. So that works okay. Anyway, here are today’s photos, I hope you like them. Have a great day and God bless!
