May Photos. #18,19,20

Hi everyone! Oops, got a bit behind on this one! The weather has finally changed for us, it was sunny today and much warmer than it has been lately. Plus, it is supposed to continue getting warmer each day until we reach the mid 80s Fahrenheit (high 20s C) by early next week.

Basically that means jumping from early spring temps to summer temps. I can finally see a slight tinge of green showing up on some of the trees as well. Most trees are just getting some swollen buds, but no sign of green yet. A late year for sure.

A small island, with a larger island behind it to the right. This lake is full of islands.

A female Mallard duck, probably one of the most common ducks found all around the world. The male is in the photo below, I have seen several pairs of these ducks this spring. The male is quite beautiful with his many colors.
