For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Catalina’s little surprise package packs a punch when needed and this time it was definitely needed. Thankfully Kitty noticed the wire at the bottom of the door, otherwise Rock would have been killed instantly with that explosion. The ghosts went in first, but invisibly, to make sure there were no other surprises waiting for them inside. Then Rock and the Black Wolves entered, with Aari and Carine coming in last. The only thing they found inside was a group of very shocked people. There were more people in this meeting than there were in the last one.
This time there were representatives from other nearby countries as well. There were 3 very notable people in attendance, a senator from the US, an MP from Canada plus an ambassador from the UK. These people certainly have big ambitions and we will have to quell their enthusiasm for ManWell Escorts Clubs that have been opening up and endangering young women, some of them being underage. We have only shut down 4 clubs that were operating out of a total of 8, plus we stopped a new one from opening as well. I have a feeling that this group is involved in more than these escort clubs and I asked Tracy to check on that one for us.
Meanwhile, back to the others. “Well, well,” said Aari, “we certainly have a nice family gathering here this evening. Hello once again Deborah.” “You know this man?” questioned a new woman. “Yes, we have met before,” she replied, “good evening Aari. I don’t understand how you could have found us without one of us helping you. I also don’t understand how you made it past my guards without them warning us.” “Your guards are in no position to warn anyone now,” replied Aari, “as for finding you, I told you before that we have our own remarkable way of finding people.
No one can hide from us, if we want to find them, we will, guaranteed. I told you before that if you build more escort clubs then we will close them down like we did the others. You still have four in operation, but not for long. As for your drug business, well, you definitely need better planning and a better means of shipping. You lost one shipment earlier today and another prior to our joining your little meeting. Those were nice hauls and I thank you for your contribution to our organization.”
“Do you think that we will allow you to just come over here from Canada and disrupt our plans without putting up a fight?” said one man. “Try to fight us and we will step on you like a bug,” said Aari, “because that’s all you are, just an annoying bug, but one that distributes poison to the unsuspecting.” Aari noticed the Canadian MP was really thinking as he looked at Aari, so he whispered to Carine who then communicated that to Sky who had rejoined the teams for this meeting. The MP was just about to say something but nothing came out of his mouth and he slumped over onto the large rectangular table where everyone was seated.
There was a doctor seated next to him and he confirmed the man had died. “You intrigue me Mr. Jensen,” said Deborah, “this man was looking at you, then you whisper to your wife, then this man dies suddenly.” “I would call that a coincidence Deborah,” he said, “it is quite obvious that none of my men were anywhere near the man who died. I do know who he is, however, a Canadian MP by the name of John Graystone.” Then a man got up and tried to walk past Aari but instead when he was close enough a knife dropped out of his sleeve and into his hand.
He then tried to stab Aari in the side, but his arm became paralyzed. “My arm! I can’t move it!” he yelled. Rock then punched the man, knocking him out. However, he picked him up off the floor, held him against the wall, punched him twice in the stomach then picked him up and tossed him across the table which knocked two other men off their chairs. “You intrigue me even more Mr. Jensen,” said Deborah, “will you say that his arm being paralyzed was just a coincidence too?”
“I had nothing to do with that either,” said Aari smiling, “you are trying to read too much into these things. But, I warned you before and I don’t like to warn people more than once, it emboldens people when that is done.” “Well I like to know who I’m dealing with!” demanded the US Senator, “Remove those dark glasses immediately and, an…” He had been standing while yelling but he suddenly fell to the floor so the doctor went to check on him too. “He is also dead,” he reported. “A man of his age shouldn’t get so worked up,” said Aari, “it can lead to a heart attack quite easily I’m told.”
“That is too many coincidences Aari,” said Deborah, “I hope you don’t mind my using your first name Major.” “I don’t mind you using my first name, I use yours,” said Aari, “but why do you insist on mixing me up with this other man you know. I checked on him today and apparently he was killed some time ago in a shoot out with the police. Now, I would like to tell you all once more, stop this nonsense with the escort clubs, we will destroy any and all that you open. And to prove that I mean business, why not check with the managers of your remaining clubs to see if they are still open for business?”
The man seated next to Deborah did so and discovered that the two in Berlin had burned down just an hour ago and another in the UK was presently on fire. “I think you will find that a rather substantial drug shipment enroute to the UK has gone missing as well,” said Aari. The man then checked on that and discovered it was true. “All this for one obscure young woman,” said Deborah, “that still amazes me. Did you even know her at all, or her family?” “No, I did not,” said Aari, “but sometimes these obscure people need someone to speak for them and that is what I am doing for her. And all of you people had a hand in killing her and how many others have been killed Deborah?”
“People die every day Aari,” she said calmly, “none of these girls had family or they had family that didn’t want them.” “Yeah,” said a man, “we did them a favor by killing them once they were no longer useful to us.” “Correct,” said a woman from the last meeting, “no one wants them so there is no loss.” Aari then pulled out his gun. “Perhaps no one wants either of you anymore,” said Aari, pointing his gun toward them. But Carine intervened, putting his hand down. Then Kat arrived and jumped onto the table.
“My brother’s wife spared you two,” she said, “but I’m not so kind. My name is Kat and you will now feel the wrath of the Kat! Go ahead and pull out your gun, any of you!” The man and woman both took out guns and Kat kicked both just once, killing them. Then she turned to the banker who had also taken out a gun and kicked him, killing him as well. But another man shot and Kat turned around. “You can’t even hit me from that distance?” she asked. Another kick and he was dead!
