  1. I didn’t go.😒 I wasn’t able to sleep last night until after 2 am sometime, then slept to long to make it to the field before it got to windy. But! I did make it to the pool this afternoon.

    • That’s too bad, sorry you had a bad night and couldn’t fly today. I spent nearly the whole afternoon looking for some important paperwork that I need this week and still didn’t find it. I looked where i would normally keep something like that and it wasn’t there, then I went looking and looking. Still nothing. I will try again tomorrow. Just can’t figure what I could have done with it. 🤔🙄😬

    • Hahaha! Yep, it’s always in the last place we look, even when it’s in the first place we look it’s still the last place we look. Now there’s a deep philosophical thought for you. 😲🤔🙃

    • Church was good, smaller turnout this morning but there were more out this evening, still it was less than normal. But there are some people away on vacation right now, some people seem to have stopped coming, one family is moving to Poland next week. Numbers can fluctuate quite a bit in the summer.

    • My outdoor plants on the balcony I won’t be keeping, just have no room for them in here with all my indoor plants. That’s okay, the outdoor plants are easy to replace next year. And I don’t want to bring in any bugs either.😬🦖🦕

    • Yep, I caught it alright! Oh yeah, busy, busy week. Shopping tomorrow. Plus banking, and banking. Help my friend with some church finances. Then on Tuesday, I might just, oh, relax after Monday. Then on Wednesday, I will relax from relaxing on Tuesday. Thursday is kind of an open day. Friday I will relax after a busy day of nothing on Thursday. So, it’s a full week. Plus looking for those papers that I need to find before Friday. Sigh.
Well, time for bed so I can get up early tomorrow. Have a good night’s sleep Dusty and I will talk again tomorrow! 😃🥱😴🌛

    • Nope, it happened today, therefore it was the first place I looked since I didn’t look in the last place after looking in the first place first. 😂 It was an envelope that I keep all my passwords written on papers so I don’t lose them. No way I can remember all of those things, too many of them. 😬 Plus there were a couple other papers in there too needed for the government should they happen to ask for them.

  2. Ahh… the new digital world that’s functional only because it’s backed up by analog technology!😂😂
Why do we need computers if we still need to write down our security passwords!😂😂 I believe that’s call an oxymoron?🤔🤭🤭

    Liked by 1 person

    • Well, this time I’m making a copy to keep on my laptop so I won’t lose these things anymore. Yeah, I know, it’s terrible really, but ya just can’t beat writing things down so computers can function properly to make our lives so much more simple. Of course there are these things called passkeys now which eliminate the need for passwords. What if you forget how to use the passkey? Did you just call me a moron? 🤔🤨

    • It’s good to know these things, thank you.
Well, time for bed again, it’s already almost completely dark out there, amazing. Have a good night Dusty and I shall be back with more intellectual chatter tomorrow!😃🥱😴🌛

    • Oh, there you are. Cooling off a bit though it did manage to reach 68 degrees today, with a very strong west wind. They finally assessed one of our tornados that hit just west of here back in July. It was an EF2, travelled about 3 miles and was half a mile wide. Another one was just classified as a microburst and it was just over a mile wide and it travelled for about 4 miles I think, might have been less, can’t remember. We have had 8 tornadoes in our area this year.

    • I put a new switch on my insulator display shelves to operate the back lights. Looks nice to have them working again. I also cut another bamboo pole for one of my other pothos vines to climb in the bedroom window. Finally found new places for all of my insulators, so all are on display again. Except for the 18 I’m giving away to one of my PSW’s. I made a bookshelf under my laptop desk for ID books that I use regularly, so now they are all in one place. How was your day?

  3. Mine was good, did a few chores, made a few phone calls and actually started working on my new planes fuselage. I didn’t do much yet. I just started filling in i.perfections in the fiberglass shell, after those are done I need to start sanding and smoothing, then comes the primer.

  4. Yep!
Oh I’ll send you an email with a picture of my golf cart.😉 👢 I think you’ll get a kick out of it. Remember I bought it the way you’ll see it on the pictures. I think it kind of fits me.😂

    • Yeah, it finally bent over so far it broke up by itself so I just finished the job. There was no easy way to rescue it. I have another one that is half as big now, plus a couple smaller ones. Saves a bit of space too, though it’s hard to tell.😂

      Liked by 1 person

    • Well, that began when I moved and someone put something on top of it causing it to bend over. Once that happens it’s impossible to straighten it again without breaking the stem. I tried to prop it up but it was just too heavy and kept bending over until one day it landed on the floor. That finished it. But, the others I have are babies from that one, so, it carries on.
Well, I have to go now, there was a big emergency here this evening, in the building with another client on this program I’m on. As a result my PSW was unable to get to see me this evening. So it’s going to make things harder for me to get ready for bed, plus I missed my massage so my back is extra sore tonight. And my RLS is acting up already too. Sigh, everything at once.🙄 Have a good night Dusty and I will be back tomorrow!😃🥱😴🌛

    • Good morning Dusty! 😃 I’m back, kind of, sort of, I think so anyway. Except maybe my brain. What a night last night! 🥱 I couldn’t sleep so I have been walking around in a fog today, not able to do anything much or even think much.🙄 How was your day? 🤔 I hope it was better than mine!😬

  5. It wasn’t to bad. Did a little bit of work on my plane before I went to help Bru e with his then came home and spent the last hour tracing out formers for my fuselage.

    • Hey, not bad, the work progresses! I did manage to fix my antique desk chair today, finally. All I needed to do was reattach the one arm of the chair which had gotten loose from my move 3 years ago. Sigh. I know, that’s slow. But since it was in my bedroom and I don’t sit at my desk much anymore, I kept forgetting about it. Now it’s done, nice and solid again.

    • Yeah, I know it, time just seems to fly way too fast!
Well, I hate to say it, but, it’s time for bed, I’m just beat, hopefully I can sleep better tonight. Have a good night Dusty and I will be back tomorrow with more somewhat intelligent, um, whatever! 😂🥱😴🌛

  6. What day is it today?🥴 I’ve lost track of my days… I’ve slept about 6 to 7 hours the last three nights. So I may not make a lot of sense today. But! Im here.

    • Hey, not bad, you’ve been sleeping well lately like me. My PSW just left, she showed up just as your comment came in so I couldn’t answer right away. It was a nice, sunny day, started off at 50 and went all the way up to 73!

  7. Nice! That’s a great temperature. Warm but not to, and, cool but not to. Very pleasant!
It was 106 here yesterday afternoon. That was on my car readout, but it had to have been very close if it wasn’t. That’s getting a bit on the uncomfortable side for this reptile. 🐍 🐢 🦎
Did you make it to Sunday service?🤔

    Liked by 1 person

    • Yes, that would be a bit too hot for me as well. At one time I would have enjoyed that temperature, but not anymore. Yep, I made it out to church this morning, we had 15 new visitors today though I think most were tourists. I only talked to a few of them.

  8. Nice, new faces are always fun and exciting to see and hear from.
I tried to go flying this morning, but because I was lacking in the sleep department, I thought better of the idea of trying to fly my big airplane today. I was kind of disappointed, but less than I would have been had I tried and crashed it. There’s another I can go.

    • Yep, that was smart thinking. Better to wait for another day. I always figure it’s better to wait for a time when I’m not so tired before trying something important which I will likely mess up. It’s cooling off fast again this evening.

  9. Jeez… I feel for you. It just barely got warm for you this summer and now it’s going the other way already.
So, have you decided on a hobby for the coming winter, before it gets to cold and you are stuck inside unprepared?

    Liked by 1 person

    • Yeah, seems like summer just started and now it’s fall. Really, the cooler weather began on Aug 5, much earlier than normal. Most of our birds have now headed south. Sigh. Nope, no idea for a hobby, but I’m still thinking about it. I have ideas…hahahahahha!!😂😂🤣🤣 Excuse me, I said a funny.🙄

  10. Yeah…. I have ideas to! Mine get me into trouble most of the time though.😂
So… puzzles, a little wood crafting, candle or soap making? I mean… come on there’s got to be something..🤔🤫

    Liked by 1 person

    • I tried making candles once, but my enthusiasm, though warm at first, melted away. No room for puzzles, my table is too small. Small wood crafts is a possibility and one of my ideas though there are some problems to overcome. I agree, there are things to do, but it has to be something I would enjoy and have the space for. This apartment is not overly big. But I’m sure something will creep up on me.

    • You want I should get fat and roll down the hallway? There are already a lot of people like that in this building!
Oh well, time for bed, early shopping morning again. Have a good night Dusty! 😃🥱😴🌛

    Sleep Well 💤 😴 🛏
I shall be here if I can get some sleep. If not, I may change my name Rip VW as I may sleep for a long time when I do.

  12. Yeah, a little better. I woke up at about 1:30, but got back to sleep until 6 am. Then I was up for the day. Hopefully tonight I’ll be able to sleep all night.

    • Sounds like my night, except I was up at 5:30 which was a good time for me since I had to go out today. I need to be up for a couple hours to get rid of the stiffness before I go out. My PSW just left, she was talkative tonight.

    • Not much. Just talking about the rain today, she loves rain, walking in the rain, riding her bike in the rain, dancing in the rain. She’s not looking forward to winter, she’s from India where it never gets cold. She’s quite young, early twenties and single. Gives a good massage.

      Liked by 1 person

    • Yes, she was here last winter and didn’t enjoy it at all, much too cold. Their house burned down last November and they have been living in a rental since then, waiting for the insurance to get settled so they can rebuild.

      Liked by 1 person

    • Yeah, lose everything and insurance companies drag their feet. They will find that they won’t get enough to rebuild. My friend told me that even if he got full value for his house if it burned down, it would still cost him 60% more to rebuild exactly what he has now. Insurance is normally based on the value of the home, not the value of rebuilding that home.

    • It was 68, cloudy, windy and rainy, not my kind of day. Speaking of day, mine is over, it’s dark, has been for a while actually. So,
That means it’s bedtime again, sigh. Have a good night Dusty, talk again tomorrow! 😃🥱😴🌛

    • Good morning Dusty! 😃 Did you sleep better last night? We had thunderstorms overnight that disturbed my sleep a little. They gave us quite a bit of rain too, something we needed.⛈️

    • Why would you want to get up early to chase flies? It was actually 70 here today and very muggy. Kind of strange considering it wasn’t that warm. Supposed to stay warm tonight, only going down to 59.

    • No walk today, it was showers all day, or mostly anyway and I didn’t want to get caught in one. I can’t exactly run back home quickly if it rains. I did get out to pick up my painkillers and other meds, plus go to the bank.

      Liked by 1 person

    • Yeah, real fun places alright. 🙄 Not really much rain though, except for last night during the thunderstorms. Now it seems to be clearing, just in time for the sunset.🌞

      Liked by 1 person

    • Yep, one time I was outside and it began to rain, but it was all blue sky above me with one small cloud some ways off. The rain had to come from it, sometimes the wind up higher can carry the rain a half mile or more ahead of it, or to the side, or whatever. Evening lightning can strike that far ahead of a storm.😬
