For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Good morning everyone and Happy Sunday! Oh my, it was certainly a cold day yesterday! The daytime high was only 50F (10C), plus there was a very strong wind and showers mixed in too.
It was a nice day to stay inside and enjoy a nice hot cup of coffee! Such a change from last Monday when it was still so hot.

It is supposed to be mainly sunny today and warmer, so hopefully the forecast is right. The birds are still singing happily though, even with the cold weather.

They begin singing at around 3am and they keep singing off and on throughout the day until around 11pm.

Anyway, here are some more flowering trees to share with you today. I hope you enjoy each of them. Have a great day everyone and God bless!

Beautiful blooming trees that you shared. Your temperatures sure go up and down. Since you live by a huge lake, it would seem that would help stabilize the temperature. We have had a colder Spring but this week our temperature hit 80 F. It has been in the 70’s which feels really warm. Trust your indoor garden is doing well, even though the temperatures fluctuate outdoors. At least you do not have to navigate the ice or snow. May God rain his blessings on you this week!

Yes, normally our lake does help us a lot, but the jet stream has been pulling hot air from the south into our area, hitting our cooler upper air and producing storms which then pulled cold air down from the north. Kind of a mixed up system this year. Now we have leveled off with slightly below normal temps which will be staying with us the rest of the month at least. The whole summer will be cooler than normal this year apparently and wetter. I don’t mind the extra rain but it’s rather cold rain unlike normal summers when the rain is warmer. Should get a good crop of wild berries this year for those who like to pick. I can’t do that anymore. Unfortunately all this rain is washing out my photography this summer. Had some heavy rain again today. Yes, my indoor garden is doing great, my outdoor flowers are struggling though. Thank you so much and God bless!ðð·ðĶïļâïļðļ

It appears that all around the world the weather has been going to extremes, Right now, our weather has been cooler but we do get summer to enjoy. So grateful that the fire season has been quieter than many years when we were surrounded with extremely large fires. Perhaps you will get better weather and will be able to get some of your desired photos.

It was only 64 here today, cloudy with showers. It should be in the upper 70s this time of year. My apartment keeps getting colder all the time! Yes, forest fires shouldn’t be a problem for us for quite a while, if at all this summer. Everything is such a lush green this year. The wild berry crop should be great this year too which might keep most bears away from town. Some will come anyway as they have discovered that eating garbage is easier than picking berries. It doesn’t look like there will be any photo time this month, showers every day except this coming Sunday. Perhaps the weather will change though. ðĪðð·

Well at least you don’t have snow on the ground. Our weather is definitely warmer than yours. We have sunny skies, mid 70’s and very pleasant weather. Everything grows quickly under the midnight Sun. Hopefully, the management of your building will turn on the heat for you.

They won’t turn on the heat even though people have complained about it being too cold. However, the law states that they can turn if off between June 15 and September 1 and these new thermostats they put in are programmed to do just that. Each one would have to be manually changed to allow the heaters to work. Yes, no snow is a good thing but we sure are getting rain, not good for people’s gardens but trees are enjoying it! We had heavy rain again today with a high of 64, same as yesterday. But after 2 years of dry summers, the forests are being rejuvenated and that’s a good thing.ðâïļðģðēðŠī
