For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
This is a reprint from June 15, 2018, which only a couple of you have seen, so thought I would share it again so more of you can read it. I also added some relevant photos…
Good morning on this absolutely beautiful Friday afternoon in the month of June which is a great month mainly because it is in the summer and all summer months are great months in my way of thinking though I know some people who would disagree but there are always strange people around who seem to prefer cold weather.

Although sometimes I think they are just pretending and really do like the warm weather but they just want to be different than everyone else and I can understand that since I usually consider myself to be rather different from others or maybe itβs just that others are different than me so instead of me being the strange one everyone else is actually strange and I am normal.

Now this signifies warm weather!
But I guess I shouldnβt say everyone since there are really a lot of people like me around and I know for a fact that there are many people like me around since I know people like me so obviously there are some people like me around and, well, okay, there are a few people like me around and and, fine, there must be a few people like me around.
Maybe. There has to be. Some. One? Sigh. That was a good opener. June is also my birthday month. That part isnβt so great. Especially this year. And only 8 days left. I am really not looking forward to my birthday this year. Itβs a bad one. Had one like this before. Took me weeks to get over it. Or was it months? I think this one is even worse. At least that time I was able to get out and spend the day by a nice quiet lake, like this one below.

Poor Muffin. She really does not like the heat. And it is hot in here again today. She also does not like thunderstorms. We had some last night. One was a big storm. Was expecting hail in that one. But only rain, thankfully. But what a lightning show! Fantastic. Too bad it was raining so hard. Oh well.

This is GPS.
GPS is back. Or did I mention that last time? Sigh. So now there are 4 chipmunks again. Oddly, I didnβt see Chester today. Hmm. Well, guess I will quit. It’s one of those days. And itβs coming too fast! Much too fast! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!! Oh well, have a great weekend (have a great day, in today’s context) and God bless!

Happy Birthday month, Steve! Birthdays are really good things and celebrate your life. It is interesting how one looks at the years. When I was much younger, anyone over age 30 years was looked at as old. Now it is an age that is very youthful. God has kept you here for a reason, and there is much for you to do. Your birthday is very significant because you were sent here to earth for a reason and you are not finished yet. My hero is Moses, who spent time daily face to face with God and didn’t get to start the main mission for his life at age 80. He pitched a tent outside the Israelite’s camp and the cloud of God’s presence would come down to meet with him daily. He was called a friend of God. Tjhis time in the presence of God made him young. Deuteronomy 34:7 says: “Although Moses was a hundred and twenty years old when he died, his eyesight was not dim, nor his natural strength abated.” He died because of his disobedience to God, not because his body failed. This is my goal. I also like Caleb, who was one of the faithful spies sent to look at the Promised Land. Joshua 14:10-11 has Caleb saying: “Now behold, as the LORD promised, He has kept me alive these forty-five years since He spoke this word to Moses, while Israel wandered in the wilderness. So here I am today, eighty-five years old, / still as strong today as I was the day Moses sent me out. As my strength was then, so it is now for war, for going out, and for coming in.” Caleb, at age 85, took his promised inheritance and fought giants to secure it. He believed and trusted God and got his inheritance. May it be also for you, Steve. Happy Birthday! May it be a time to celebrate and enjoy the gifts God placed within you.

Oh my, I’m embarrassed, not sure how I missed this comment!! One of my heroes is Caleb as well, plus Joseph from much earlier. Yes, God preserved Moses and Caleb to be strong physically well into old age. I like how it says several times that Caleb followed God with his whole heart. Thank you so very much for such a wonderful birthday greeting!! Yes, definitely a time to celebrate even though I will be alone this year without Muffin. We used to have a great time together. She didn’t care about gifts, just give her a roll of wrapping paper and she was ecstatic ripping it to shreds! Good times to remember anyway. Thanks once again and God bless!ππΊπππ§¨π

No need to be embarrassed, Steve because comments can be missed. Muffin might be gone but you can still celebrate your life and think about why Father God sill has you here. You still have things to accomplish. Maybe get in the presence of God and see what he wants to say to you. Enjoy your special day and celebrate your life. You are worthy to celebrate yourself! Happy Birthday! Enjoy your life, the best is ahead of you! God is blessing you! πΆ

Yes, I can still celebrate, though it will be rather different this year. But change does come and we need to change along with it or things become difficult. Thank you for your kind words of encouragement!! Have a most wonderful day and God bless you much!π

Appreciate you and your blessing. My day went well. It is important to celebrate yourself, despite the circumstances, even changing the form because you are cause enough and worth the celebration.
