Flowering Trees. #6
Hello everyone! How are you on this fine day? It was mainly cloudy here again today although there were a few sort of sunny breaks as well. Plus there were a couple of showers too. Seems we can’t make it through a day without some rain. Yesterday it rained rather heavily for a while and we even had some hail. I missed seeing the hail since I was lying down at the time, but a friend of mine mentioned it to me today.
We did have a nice thunderstorm though, lots of lightning and some good rumbles of thunder. Muffin was always so afraid of thunder and would go and hide at the first distant rumble. Until the last year of her life, then she always wanted to be near me when I thunderstorm showed up. That was such an interesting change in her.
It was a rather cool day again too, with a high of only 59F (15C) today. Our night time low temperature should be warmer than that this time of year. Oh well, I still think we had our summer already and from now on it will be cool, cool, cool.
Have I ever mentioned that I like warm places? I do. Even though that early heat bothered me a lot this year, it was the heat inside that was the problem.
Not the heat outside, that was fine. Oh well. The robins are singing happily right now and they will continue singing until after dark, then start up again at 3am. I love listening to the birds singing. Well, I hope you enjoy the flowering trees today, have a great day and God bless!

Beautiful photos of the flowering trees, Steve. We had bad storms yesterday as Tropical Storm Arthur moved through our area. Today, it’s humid with t-storms in the forecast. ☕☕⛈️🌪️

Thank you so much Eugenia! Those would be worse than any storms we get I’m sure. We have thunderstorm and tornado warnings out right now. Apparently funnel clouds have been reported but nothing on the ground yet. That’s the 4th time this year for tornado warnings for us which is odd.🤔⛈️🌪️

It’s really too hot here. And I think the worst is yet to come… It’s so hot I’ve given up coffee today. Or rather, my second coffee. I drank my first after breakfast. 🥵
The blooms are beautiful, they remind me of when the temperature didn’t get above 25 degrees.

Still too cold here for me, it was only 16C again today and there is a thunderstorm right now. There is also a tornado warning out for us again. I don’t like the thought of tornadoes.

I wouldn’t like the idea of tornadoes either, but I would trade our 36°C for those 16°C 🥵
This year the famous date seems to be more important than other times, I wonder if it’s one of those years where the ten changes… 🤔 For me it’s like that this year, but it still takes a few months.

Hmm, 36 is a bit hot for sure, though years ago I would not have said that! But 16 is much too cool for me. A lot of people I talk to though, are enjoying this cold weather. If I have to wear a jacket, it’s not enjoyable!😂😂
The important date is just because Muffin isn’t here to share it with me this year. So it’s a rather empty year for me. I will be turning 68 this year, kind of scary!😱🎈🎂

You’re awake late tonight, or do you always stay up late? I’m an early bird for bedtime and getting up early too. Unfortunately, I hurt my back yesterday again so there will be no trip for photos this week. There is only one nice day in the forecast this week, tomorrow, otherwise rain each day. ⛈️ Oh well, maybe next week!😊 I found that turning 40 was my worst birthday, I was quite depressed over that one! Not sure why though. 🤔 Enjoy your week Rossana, thank you for being here! 😃

There are some beautiful trees, but it’s a noisy and sometimes dangerous neighborhood. But that’s the way it works sometimes. Have a great weekend Mr. Ohh!😃📷🌸
