For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Hello once again everyone! I know I said it before so I won’t repeat it, besides, it’s in the title! Wasn’t really sure what to do for Father’s Day this year so decided on a pictorial tribute to my Dad who was also my best friend. They run from the time of his teen’s when he caught a nice jack fish (northern pike) that was 44 and a half inches long (about 1 meter, 11cm) and out giving his dog a bath when my Dad was about 18 and when he joined the air force at 19 during WWII and playing baseball as a pitcher during the 1940s.

Then, moving onward we have dad enjoying a nice leisurely game of golf, miniature style. Then a couple picks of my Dad doing some carpentry work which he loved to do, first fixing the roof of our house, then building a cottage. Finally followed by a time that Dad and I were out looking for buried treasure during a time when we were both interested in metal detectors. That pic was at the location of an old Hudson Bay trading post and we did find some stuff likely from that place.

It’s quite amazing, that with all the times we spent together with our adventures, there are few pics of Dad and I together. I did, however, lose some when my apartment flooded and that was sad. But there it is….
HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!!
