For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Greetings everyone! Well, it continues to be hot and sunny here. This is actually the hottest weather we have had since July 1975 and it is record heat for sure! My apartment is almost as hot as the outside temperature, it is 105F (about 40C).
I must admit, the heat this year is hitting me harder than ever before in my life. I’m having a hard time breathing, I have a constant headache, I feel hot all over and I drink water non stop! Strangely enough I even shiver at times, something I don’t really understand. But it is what it is.

Tomorrow will be our hottest day and by Wednesday it will start to cool off to normal summer heat with temperatures in the low 80sF (28C).

Even with all the rain we have had this year, the ground around here dries out quickly and we now have more than 100 forest fires burning here in NW Ontario, mostly further north than where I live.

Well, I did a quick walk around the building area to get some pics and came up with some more violas, plus other flowers.

But today I will show the violas, hope you enjoy this little flowers that grow everywhere around here. Have a great week and God bless!

Thanks for sharing the beautiful flowers!

Yes, that heat is everywhere this year! We’re just not used to it up here in the north where a hot day is usually 80 degrees! Just one more day and then it gets cooler again. πββ

Well, today is supposed to be the last day for us. We are not used to these temperatures up here, it is the hottest weather we have had since the 1940s and we have broken lots of old records. We had three days up at 108 to 110 degrees, which I have never experienced in my life! Thanks Renee, have a blessed week! π₯΅ππββ
