The Investigators, Inc. Part 2. The Mysterious Mr. Flynn. Chapter 4. Testing.

It took a couple of days to get our teams in place around the San Francisco area. The Black Wolves came into the area a bit more quietly than they normally would, and not wearing their jackets at this point. They were using vans this time also so they don’t attract too much attention. They are pretending to be on a group vacation from some business with offices in London and Paris, this being their first time in the San Francisco bay area. That way it won’t look suspicious if they ask a lot of questions about the area.

Mandar has sent along a team of 20 men who have been specially trained to work with the Black Wolves and this will give them some actual field training. These men will stay with Mandar Corp., but will be available at any time we need them. Sienna is working on such a team as well, but hers is not quite ready at this point. It will be nice to have 2 such teams for us to use when necessary, especially since the Black Wolves are supposed to be a large organization. So it would be good to have a larger team at times.

Kat and her Wildcats are in a separate hotel closer to where Mr. Flynn (Donna Filing) lives. Sky and her Bad Girls are closer to the Black Wolves but they won’t have any outward communication with them unless necessary. All three teams have people who are expert in using drones which they will use to fly around Donna’s large estate. On their first full day, 6 of the Wildcats drove up to Donna’s estate and the large metal gate blocking the only road into the estate grounds.

There was a ‘small’ guard house at the gate and two well armed men came to the girl’s car to find out what they wanted. “We were wondering who lived here,” said Catalina, “it’s such a huge, amazing mansion we thought maybe some movie star or important billionaire lived here. Can we get in to take some photos of the place?” “Sorry ladies,” said the one guard, “but the only way to get in here is with an appointment.” All of the girls groaned when they heard this and pleaded with the guard, but he steadfastly, though kindly, said no. “Well, can we take some photos from the gate?” asked Catalina. Just then the guard’s phone rang, so he excused himself momentarily.

As he was talking two golf carts arrived with more guards. Then the gate guard told the girls they could go in and they were to follow the first golf cart. The gate opened and the girls drove in, following the cart with the second golf cart following behind them. “I hope we get back out just as easily,” said Cathy. When they were about 50 feet from the mansion the lead golf cart stopped and the guards got out, with their weapons ready. One of them came to the car and told the girls they could get out there and take pictures, then they would have to leave.

Ivy was the real photographer, but all of them took pictures of the mansion and the grounds. “Hey, is that drone one of your surveillance drones?” asked Ivy. The guards looked up and one of them took out a rifle from the golf cart and shot, just once. The drone exploded! “Wow! Does that happen often around here?” asked Catalina rather nervously, “uh, maybe we should leave girls.” “Yes, that is a good idea,” said a guard and they took the girls back to the gate and let them leave.

“I thought maybe they would hold us for sure,” said Stefanie. “Yes, me too,” added Candace. Once they were back on the main road they decided to go a bit faster. “Okay Fuzzy, back to the hotel quickly,” said Kiara. “Me Fuzzy, we go quick.” The car then sped up very quickly until they got back into the city, then it slowed to the speed limit. Back at the hotel the girls showed everyone the photos they had taken. Even Fuzzy took some photos of the gate and fence, along with the guard house and golf carts. The girls were not allowed to take photos of those things.

The property is surrounded by an 8 foot tall chain link fence topped by electric wires. The iron gate is just as tall as the fence, but no electric wires. “That one guard is a good shot with that rifle,” said Aoife, “he has had sniper training for sure. They didn’t appear to be surprised that the drone exploded though, and they obviously have their own. So that is something to watch out for too.” Meanwhile, Sky was waiting for someone to open the door for her since none of the windows were open. She had come with the girls and stayed behind to see what she could find out, like, if Donna is even at home right now.

Then she got an idea and she knocked on the door since there was no doorbell. A man came to the door with his gun out and while he looked around Sky went inside. “Who was it Milton?” asked Donna. “No one was out there,” he said, “maybe I was just hearing things.” “But I heard the knocking as well,” said Donna, “get security check thoroughly around the house and raise the radar early today. I don’t like things we can’t explain.” Soon there were a dozen men, some with dogs, going all around the huge house.

Sky was upstairs and she found what definitely looked like Donna’s bedroom on the third floor, which was the top floor. The bedroom was very large, 2500 sq. feet in size with an adjacent bathroom that was 500 sq. feet. There was a walk in closet that was also 500 sq. feet in size. Then Sky had an idea and she cut glass from the window big enough so she could reach through and unlock it, even though she was already on the inside. She just wanted to see if it would set off an alarm, and it did, a very loud alarm…
