For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Greetings everyone! Fortunately there is no snow yet, though it feels cold enough to get some. On Friday it was unbelievably nice with sunshine and warm temperatures, with a high of 72F, or 22C. That is unusually warm for us this time of the year.
Today, which is Sunday, the temperature was only 42F, or 6C, which is more normal. We did have a beautiful sunny day though, but the wind was strong and cold which made it feel colder than the actual temperature.

But, speaking of snow, this fall our town was treated to the visit of a Snow Goose, which is rather unusual for us. We get a lot of Canada Geese and we see Snow Geese flying overhead as they fly south, but getting one to land and stay with us for a few weeks was a rare treat.
Unfortunately the morning I took these pictures, the sun was behind the Snow Goose so he doesn’t appear as bright white as he should.

However, it is the first time I have been able to photograph one of these geese, so I am still happy with the results. I hope you all have a great week and God bless!

I woke up to snow this morning and the snow has lingered all day. I haven’t left the house in 2 days because I’m allergic to snow. Just kidding, but I don’t like cold temps. Brrrr ☃️

I agree, I don’t like cold temps either, it is already too cold for me. But at least there is no snow yet, though we might get some flurries this week. Have a great week Hilary!😃🥶

This is the first time I have seen one spend time here, guess he got lost from his flock. He left with the first flock of Canada geese heading south. Thanks so much! Have a great week!😃🍁🍂📷
