For a smile as wide as a country sunrise

Hello everyone on this beautiful Sunday!
Well, it has been more than a month since I shared one of my “looking” photos, so I figured it was time for another one. This one is from Friday while I sat on the deck enjoying a nice afternoon. There were several red-breasted nuthatches around and this one decided to look over my way, so I snapped his picture. Another nuthatch, or perhaps the same one, looked at me a short while later too, but I missed that pic unfortunately. I have to be fast to catch these little birds in the act, or all is lost. But it is much fun trying! Have a great day and God bless!

Hi once again everyone!
Here we are with another picture of my favorite country flower, the hollyhock. This is definitely my favorite color of hollyhocks as well, such a beautiful, deep maroon color. And with the sun shining on it, the star shape on the flower petals shows up so nicely. This flower is still full of pollen, waiting for a bumblebee to find it. Enjoy the flower and today! Have a most wonderful day everyone and God bless!
