For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Hi everyone and welcome back! I hope you are looking forward to what Grover has for us today to make us smile, chuckle and laugh! So, here we go…
A mother and father were chatting with their 13-year-old son about his future. The teenager said he’d like to attend Cornell, as his parents and other members of the family had. Pleased with his response, they pressed on. “What would you like to take when you attend college?” they asked the boy. After giving it some thought and glancing around the kitchen, he replied, “The refrigerator, if you can get along without it.”

A woman drove a mini-van filled with a dozen screaming kids through the mall parking lot, looking for a space.
Obviously frazzled, she coasted through a stop sign.
“Hey, lady, have you forgotten how to stop?” yelled an irate man.
She rolled down her window and yelled back, “What makes you think these are all mine?”

Hired a handyman and gave him a list of tasks. When I got home, only items #1, 3, & 5 were done. Turns out he only does odd jobs.
============
I always say “Thank you” to Alexa so that when the machines take over they know I’m nice.
============
Every morning I announce that I’m going jogging, but then I don’t. It’s a running joke.
============
Just for the record, the longest drum solo was 10 hours and 26 minutes…
And it was performed by the child sitting behind me on Delta flight 963 from LA to Tokyo.

Well, that is all for today, for funnies that is! Hopefully you were able to enjoy something from the list. Have a fun Monday everyone and God bless!

Hello once again everyone! It is a wet and windy day here with a temp of only 48F (9C). After having those hot days this feels quite cold. Quite amazing how I went from trying to cool my apartment one day to trying to keep it warm the next day. But this is Canada and up here in the north we can get wild swings in the weather, even on the same day sometimes. And tomorrow we go back to hotter temps again followed by cooler temps the remainder of the week.

But for today, another look at nature’s beauty, this time the bright green new growth found on this balsam fir in the above photo. It is always a wonderful sight to see when trees begin their new growing season. Thank you for taking a look today! Have a wonderful Sunday and God bless!
Steve and Muffin.
