For a smile as wide as a country sunrise

Hi everyone! Today we start our new Art in Nature series which will be here every Thursday, though normally it will be out a little earlier than this. I’m still getting used to my new schedule, so this is here later than it should be. There is so much “art” out in nature in so many forms and it can be found in the country, town or city as well. We just need to look around a bit. This picture today came from one of my earlier summer walks to the river. I’m not sure what this little plant is, but I found it quite interesting anyway. It was about 5 inches (12.5cm) tall and had these little purple “grape-like” buds on it. I don’t know if they were buds for flowers, or perhaps seeds left over from flowers. I marked the plant so I could keep track of it, but the next day it was gone, and it was the only one I could find like it. These little unusual things are what really make the art in nature interesting. We hope you have a wonderful day and God bless!

We were soon on our way by one of Baldwin’s jets. Sure is nice traveling this way and his jets are super nice inside. Kat and I talked things over for a bit, but then decided it might be a good idea to sleep for a while, we may not get much sleep after this. And this jet comes complete with a very nice and comfortable bed. We were both asleep in no time and it didn’t seem possible when the pilot told us we would be landing in an hour. We got up and refreshed ourselves, including a quick breakfast. Soon we were at the airport and inside we went. Kat and I were looking all around, I figured we would be watched right from the time we landed.
“There’s two men on the second level watching us Steve,” said Kat. I didn’t bother looking since that might give away the fact we spotted them. We walked around a bit waiting for our helicopter to show up. For some reason it was late so we sat and waited. Those men were still watching. “We better show them that we are the right people,” said Kat. She had been hiding her face as much as possible until now. Meanwhile with the two men…”Well, are they the right couple?”, asked Katrina. “We can’t see the woman’s face very good from here, she’s always looking in different directions. Oh, wait, they’re kissing now.” “I don’t care about that!,” exclaimed Katrina, “so can you see her face now?”
“They’re still kissing, that’s a long one, it has to be Kat, he wouldn’t be kissing another woman like that,” said the man, “wait, she’s turning now. Yep, that’s her, no doubt about it. We could get her now if you want.” “NO!,” said Katrina, “I want her here, and alive! Just watch and see how they leave, it should be by helicopter.” “Okay,” he said, “we’ll let you know as soon as they take off.” “Soon she’ll be here and I will get them both and those ugly furballs!,” said Kat to Brenda, one of her most trusted women in her organization. “Go check on those cats,” said Kat, “I want them looking good for this “exchange” we’re not doing, and tell the others to go outside and get ready.”

So Brenda went to another building where they were keeping the cats, with 3 guards. “Kat wants you 3 outside and hiding for the “reception” of the PI and Kat,” said Brenda. Two of them left at that point and the third went to open the door to the cats room. “Stay in the building until I come out,” said Brenda as she went into the room and closed the door. “Hey you two,” she said, “you don’t need to be afraid of me, I love cats. I even have a little kitten of my own now.” And she went over to pet them gently. Meow, meow?=If you love cats, why you want to hurt us? Brenda stared at Muffin. “Guess I’m not getting enough sleep lately, I’m imagining you can talk,” she said with a smile, “but really, I don’t want to hurt you. I really thought my boss was going to let you go, until just now she told me she wanted to kill all of you.”

Meow, meow=Then why you not help us get away? My human help you too, get you away from bad woman Katrina. Meow.=Yep, he do that for sure, bring you back home with us. Meow, meow=Yep, you let us go now, come with us to meet my human, you be safe, honest, I promise. “I must be going crazy,” said Brenda, “cats can’t talk like that, my imagination is going wild.” Meow.=No, not imagination, we can talk, but only with nice people. Meow, meow.=And we think you nice people, please help us now before bad Kat kill us.
Both the cats look at Brenda with sad eyes until she started to cry. “Part of me says this is impossible,” said Brenda, “and part of me says I should do what you say, even though Kat will kill me for doing it.” Meow, meow.=She not kill you if you stay with us. Meow.=Yep, human Steve and Kat protect you, we help protect too. Brenda went out of the room and as the other woman was about to lock the door, one good hit and that woman was knocked out.
Brenda dragged her into the room and told the cats to come. She called one of the other women back who was close to the building, the other woman had moved further away. She came in and soon Brenda was dragging her into the jail room too, then she locked the door. They found the third woman and M.C. went on the other side of her and meowed. The woman looked and soon she too was knocked out. Brenda handcuffed her to a tree and took her guns. Then she and the cats walked quietly away, until…
