Wild columbine.

Good Monday morning everyone!  Another new day to enjoy, another new day to get poked with needles.  Ouch, who said that?  Oh, right, that was me and yes, more blood tests for me today.  Not a big deal really, I have had to go through this so many times over the years.  Mostly just regular yearly checks.  However, this is the second time this month.  Oh well, doesn’t take long anyway and they usually are nice enough to leave me some blood.  It’s a nice morning, not too cold and it’s supposed to get well into those nice melting temps today.  That’s super nice.  Soon this snow will be gone again and spring will be finally here after what seems like a very long winter.  But it’s only been 5 months so far, just seems a lot longer for some reason.  Last winter was long, 7 months, much too long, but not exactly unusual.  Oh well, it’s a nice day and I’m happy, so is Muffin.

And now for today’s beautiful flowers to help put a smile on our face…

Another bright white daffodil with an orange yellow center to start our pics this time around.IMG_7434

And moving to a different color, some beautiful blue harebells, one of my favorite summer wildflowers.

I hope you enjoy today’s selection as you begin or end your day.  I hope all of you have a wonderful Monday and God bless!

Chrysanthemum and friend.

Good morning and Happy Sunday to everyone!  I hope you are having a good day.  The day is off to a great start with warmer temps.  And the snow should actually start to melt once again and hopefully soon all that ice out there will be gone.  My walkway out to the driveway is solid ice and has been for some time already.  It is terribly dangerous walking on that right now.  Not that I’m going out much these days anyway, but I still need to pick up my mail, which means walking on ice.  But it’s a nice day, even if it is still dark.  Muffin is just getting started, she has had her breakfast, she has checked the window and soon, she will be flying!  I really enjoy this time of the day.  Early morning is the best.  And Muffin agrees with me totally on that.  Although her early morning is usually a bit earlier than mine.  Until summer.  Then we are both on the same early time. And so are all the outdoor critters.

And now for today’s picks of pics…

Starting with a nice brilliant white and pale yellow daffodil.  Must admit, I really enjoy all the different colored daffodils in the spring.IMG_4448
