For a smile as wide as a country sunrise

Hello once again everyone! How are all of you today? I hope you are having a nice sunny day. I know that some of you are already enjoying spring and some of you are already in full summer. And some are still in winter like we are here. We had another 3 1/2 inches of snow overnight. Not a lot, but it made everything look very white again. Then the sun came out, which is very nice, but also incredibly bright shining off that new snow. It’s actually very hard on the eyes, sunglasses are a definite plus to wear at times like this. But even though the temp is still not warm enough to melt the snow, it is still melting anyway. That sun is warm now that it has moved so much. Yes, I know, it isn’t the sun, the earth is moving, changing it’s tilt which means the sun’s rays have a greater impact than in the winter. That means it’s melting outside, there is water on the street, and on my deck. So, it looks like spring even though it isn’t yet. But it’s coming!
And now, for our look at art in nature and continuing with our look at mushrooms…

There was a lot of these weird looking mushrooms in one area along my path, looks like something rather alien looking. Though I don’t know what they are, it seems that similar mushrooms are not a good idea to eat, so I would think the same for these.
And another tiny mushroom growing around a very tiny twig. The top of the mushroom is about 1/2 inch (just over a cm). Another very common mushroom though. I don’t know if it’s edible, but being so small it wouldn’t be worth the trouble picking them. And there we have some more interesting mushrooms for our enjoyment today. I hope you have a great day and God bless!

Good morning everyone! The days keep going past and spring is…well, it’s out there somewhere. I think it’s hiding behind all the snow.😂😹Yesterday turned out to be a nice sunny and mild day. Not mild enough to melt the snow exactly, but it was beautiful anyway. Mama deer and her little one were around in the afternoon while I was outside walking. I got pics of Mama but the little guy just wanted to stay hidden for some reason. Oh well, next time. They haven’t been coming around much during the day lately, just at night. Not sure why they are doing that. So that gave me an idea anyway for a slight change to my daily pics for a couple days.
Therefore, let’s take a look at some mammals, starting with…

Doesn’t that face just make you want to smile? No, the chipmunks are not out yet, these pics are from last spring.

Here’s another pic that should bring a nice smile to your face. And that’s the best way to start any day, with a nice smile that you can take with you all day long. I hope everyone is well today, stay safe with that virus around. Have a great day and God bless!
