Good morning everyone on this another cold morning!  But, Happy Saturday!  At least for a lot of people this is not a workday, although it can still be a work day at home.  But for many in our modern society, Saturday is just another workday.  But we can still make it a happy day anyway!  Even living in a frigid climate like this.  Though really, this has been a nice mild winter for us.  And that is certainly a nice thing after 4 brutal winters in a row.  That’s something to be happy about right there, for us at least.  Muffin just gives me that look.  For her it’s not nice until she can have her window open.  I am looking forward to that time as well.  So nice to have those windows open and get all that fresh air in each day.

However, for now let’s just enjoy some more nice summer pictures…

Here we have two male goldfinches wearing their summer feathers.  Certainly a lot brighter than they are now in the winter.

And here we have a beautiful white throated sparrow.  This is one of our largest sparrows and one of the most colorful too.

Well, I thought we would have a little break from the flower pics for a bit and bring you some of our summer birds for a while.  Probably won’t be for very long, or I might do one bird pic and one flower pic.  Guess we will find out tomorrow.  I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and God bless!
