Introduction…
Hello everyone, my name is Steve. Meow! And that’s my trusty sidekick, Muffin. We formed 2020 Investigations, Inc to provide quality private investigating in order to solve mysteries around the world. Meow. Muffin says, not quite around the world. That’s true, but we hope to be some day. We are almost world famous now…meow…what do you mean no one knows about us? We have our first customer already and we have only been open for business one week.
And this mystery will make us world famous when we solve it. We will not only be famous, we will be…meow. No not dead, stop saying that. We have our nice office. Meow. What do you mean it’s a basement junk heap? It just needs a bit of cleaning and it will be fine. I just bought a new car to help us out. Meow. It is not falling apart Muffin, it’s a good car, just older. Meow. Okay, so the bumper fell off and it needs new tires. It’s not like we have to travel far right now. Meow? Yes, it will take us to our destination and back again.
We are both excited about our first investigation coming up. Meow? Yes, we are excited. Just think of all the mice in that old house. Meow? Yes, that old place probably has lots of mice. Meow! Now she’s excited. Yes, we are going to a large old house for our first assignment. The lady who owned it, Mrs. Baker, died years ago and the house has sat empty since the 1930s. But, she hid some gold in that house somewhere and it’s up to Muffin and I to find it.
Mrs. Baker’s great grandson hired us to look for this gold. The family tried for years to find it but gave up more than 50 years ago. And 2 family members died looking for this gold. And…meow. No, we won’t die too, stop saying that. This house is on an old country road, a very lonely spot. But that’s good, we won’t be disturbed while investigating. I hope you will come along on our adventure, the first of many, we hope. Meow. What do you mean, “ha”? Sigh. Along with mystery there will be a bit of humor as well.
Anyway, starting tomorrow we begin…

Daily Pics #50!
Good morning everyone on this last day of 2019! When I started the daily pics I had no idea that #50 would end up today, but that is perfect! I hope everyone is feeling well today so you can enjoy this final day of the year. And tomorrow begins a New Year with new things, new ideas, new goals for everyone I’m sure. And here at Steve’s Country there will be some new happenings too, beginning tomorrow, but more on that in another post. I hope you will enjoy the “new” as well as the continuing of the “old” things here. Of course our daily pics will continue though it won’t always be flowers. I wish it could, but I am running out of flower pics, unless I just use more of the same from different angles. I might do that too from time to time.
But for now, a couple of nice bright beauties to end the year…
These are a cool and bright flower and very plentiful on each plant.
And some more very beautiful orchids. I wish that there was more space here for growing plants, I would love to try orchids.
