For a smile as wide as a country sunrise

Snowflakes dancing in the air,
Falling gently, without care.
Oh what beauty, all in white,
Bursting now upon my sight.
Lazy snowflakes that I see
Landing there, in front of me.
As I gaze around out there,
Sparkling beauty everywhere.
Having now such clear design,
Like bright diamonds, oh so fine.
This beauty here, all in white,
Now gives to us such delight.

Happy Monday once again everyone! Here I sit where it’s nice and warm, close to my heater. Muffin is at her usual spot at the window. She had her morning playtime and breakfast so now she is content to look at whatever she looks at out there. The birds are not here yet. Sometimes I think she is just hopeful the snow will suddenly disappear and spring will be here again. It is a nice thought. A distant thought however. We both have “it” now. “Cabin Fever” is the “it”. And it’s getting bad already. Sigh. It’s always bad when Cabin Fever hits before the New Year. Because it always lasts until spring. Which as I mentioned is a distant thought yet. Oh well.
In the meantime, we can look at some of the art from nature…

Just a nice little bunch of raspberry leaves changing color. The leaf patterns showing up so nicely at that point.
The simplicity of some white pine needles that had fallen on a lichen covered granite rock. I thought it looked so nice and beautifully cut off, by a squirrel perhaps?
And there we have the wonders of art found in nature once again. Thanks so much for stopping by to take a look, I hope you have a wonderful day and God bless!
Steve and Muffin.
