Nature’s Art, #22.
Hello everyone and welcome back! We are ready to enjoy another post of art in nature with more of our favorite oddities. There is just so much that we don’t normally even consider to be art, but when we view it in the proper way then these different things really show up as beautiful art indeed. We are set for another beautiful day here again with the sun shining so brightly, the birds are chirping and singing in the trees, plus filling the feeders. Unfortunately there is only 12 feeding stations and more than 50 birds at the moment each wanting a turn. But my landlord has more options for them, but they still like coming to my feeders the most. All the blue jays are here this morning too, which totals 10 more birds. But I put their peanuts on the step outside my door, so they don’t bother with the feeders.
And now, it’s time for our look at some more interesting mushrooms…
This one comes out of the ground almost round like a ball, but once out the top flattens nicely.
This one is very tiny, the stem is thin like string and the top is less than a cm across, about 1/3 inch. Amazing how that stem to even hold the top in place.

Daily Pics 2020…#53.
Good morning everyone! I hope you are all having a beautiful Saturday already. I’m getting a bit of a late start today, guess I was a bit more tired than normal. I actually went for my first outdoor walk yesterday since I injured myself back at the beginning of October. I’m excited, even though it was a short walk of only half a km, but it’s a start, and hopefully by spring I will be back to walking my forest path and river path. I’m looking forward to that, it has been a long time. Muffin is quite calm this morning, sitting at the window, or I should say, lying down at the window watching all the little birds. And there is a lot of bird activity this morning. It feels like spring. Yesterday it was 37F (3C) and today it’s supposed to be 4C (39F) with the sun shining brightly. I know it’s not going to last, but it feels good anyway.
And now for some nice summer pics from the river…
This is a beautiful spot to sit and watch the river flow past heading west along this section.
Another beautiful location overlooking this quiet bay of the river where ducks like to swim around as they look for food.
