Friday’s Pictures #1.

Here we are at Friday already and the first in our new Friday series of pictures for you to enjoy!  So welcome everyone on this very wet and cold October Friday.spruce grouse7

That’s a male spruce grouse in the above picture, a common bird in this area.IMG_9369

A very bright yellow mushroom with a white stem.  The top flattens as the mushroom matures.  Also found in red and pink, all with white stems.  They have a very waxy, almost a plastic feel to the tops.wild onion1a

Above is a wild onion, often found on our rocky hills.cinnamon bear3

Above is a black bear with brown fur.  These are often called cinnamon bears in this area.
