Wednesday’s Pictures #4.

Good morning all!  I hope everyone is feeling well and that you are enjoying the day.  Don’t forget that smile today!  And spend some time outside drinking in all the beauty around you.  Yes, there is, just look around and you will find it.  And to help you on today’s journey, here are some pictures to brighten your day.IMG_4670

A herring gull above watching me.  All those rocks are underwater now.IMG_4489

Above is the spreading dogbane, a very pretty wildflower with a terrible name.wild bergamot

And here, above, we have the wild bergamot, another beautiful wildflower which isn’t too common in this area.IMG_0063

Another autumn picture, McLeod Park, where we had one of our coffee chats this summer.  Can you spot the Canada goose in the picture?

Well, that’s all for today’s pictures, I hope you enjoyed the assortment.  It’s a cold morning here, -9C (15F).  If this keeps up we just might see some ice on that lake soon. I hope that you all have a wonderful Wednesday and God bless!

    • Yes, the lake can get quite large waves at times, especially the southern part of the lake which is more open. There are so many islands on the north end that it shelters the lake so the wind just doesn’t have the same effect. But we have some large open areas near town where the waves can get big, especially if it’s a west wind.

    • Hi Simon! I often wonder who gets to name things, dogbane is a terrible name for something so beautiful.🌼😀 But lots of people hate it for some reason.🤔 Bergamot flowers are about 5cm across. Have a great day!😁😸🌞
