Good morning everyone on this chilly Sunday morning here at Steve’s Country! But it’s nice and warm inside anyway. Muffin is at her watch looking out the window, not sure what she looks at in the dark, but she does seem to enjoy herself. Lately she seems to have her days and nights mixed up. I think she deliberately stays up at night so she can use my laptop and talk with all her friends. Okay, I’m crazy. It’s all this time sitting inside for the last 10 weeks that’s doing it to me. I think it’s time for more of those bright and cheerful flowers…
Starting with a lovely two tone pink hollyhock. This one has a double set of petals besides, making it even more beautiful.
And now the brilliant white of the potentilla. I showed a single flower a while back, here we have a group shot. Notice the nice stars in the center of the flowers?

Good! Yeah.. I noticed you were pretty quiet today! Out enjoying the nice warm spell before the deep plunge?

We took the deep plunge already, temp started at 10F this morning and has been dropping all day. It’s 0 right now, going down to -6. That’s all without the wind factored in which puts the temp down to -25.

The next few days are going to be chilly, temps down to -25 without the wind and warming up to -8 or so in the day. Going to be cool outside with bare hands getting pics.🥶🥶🙀😳😬⛄⛄

Great. Forgot to bring in bird feeder. Now it’s dark and I’ve been hearing odd noises outside, so has Muffin. And I have to go out. Sigh. Hope “L” doesn’t see this.😬😳
