Good morning once again everyone! The sun finally came out late yesterday afternoon, and along with it a cold wind which dropped the temperature. The birds were busy though and I tried for some pics, but it was too cold standing out there. Speaking of standing out there, when I went outside this morning there was some very large footprints in the newly fallen snow. Human footprints. Someone was out there during the night or very early this morning. Oddly he didn’t come all the way to the door or go over to the window. He came up to the door and turned around and left. He certainly had feet quite a bit bigger than mine. Very strange. Muffin did hear something out there during the night and stared at the door. I didn’t hear anything so didn’t bother to look. Guess I should have. Oh well.
Some nice bright pics are more interesting anyway…
The very beautiful bright pink orpine is a good way to start our day. I think I used this one several months ago, but it’s too nice not to use again.
And here we have one of our more unique flowers, the Indian pipe. It’s quite common in plain white, but pink ones are more difficult to find around here so this was a real treat. They are unique plants having no chlorophyll, which is why no green color.
Well, there it is for today, don’t forget, chapter 7 of our mystery story comes out today. I hope you have a wonderful day and God bless!
Steve and Muffin.
