Good morning from Muffin and I and Happy Friday to everyone! Well, it’s not quite so cold this morning which is nice, but there is a bit of a snowstorm headed our way which is supposed to start later this morning. So that’s not so good. But perhaps the storm will miss us this time too. We have missed other snowstorms this winter so it’s always possible. It is still dark right now, but soon daylight will appear and the birds will begin to arrive. I imagine they will be quite busy today, they always are busier when snow is coming. Guess we will see what happens shortly.
But for now, it’s time for more beauty from our wildflowers…
And we will begin with this bright beauty, the fringed loosestrife. Bright yellow is perfect happiness for a dull cloudy day.
And continuing with another sunny yellow beauty, the yellow avens. This is a common wildflower here and always provides cheery sunshine no matter what the weather.
Thank you for joining us again today as we show some of our local area wildflowers. I hope you have a great day and God bless!
Steve and Muffin.
