Good morning all of you fine people that take time out of your busy day to come over here! And I hope you find it a worthwhile journey too. Hard to believe but it’s going to be even milder today than it has been. And getting better over the weekend! That’s where it ends however. But that’s okay. It’s been great weather lately. So a little colder weather isn’t so bad. Muffin made that other cat run again early yesterday morning. Although I really wish he wouldn’t come around until after I get up. That would be so much better. Oh well, can’t have everything.😂😹
Meanwhile, we can have our beautiful summer flowers to enjoy…
This looks much like our wild “spotted joe-pye-weed”, but this is a garden variety which can grow up to 6 feet (nearly 2 meters) tall. It is sometimes referred to as a butterfly bush, however the true butterfly bush is much different. Butterflies and bees do like it however.
Can’t remember if I showed this one before or not, but here it is anyway, it is just such a beautiful hollyhock flower. This particular flower is 5 inches (12.5cm) across.
Happy Friday to all of you on this last day of January, and God bless!
Steve and Muffin.
