Summer Dreams…A Poem.

Summer Dreams

Here I sit, it’s cold, I say,

Snow is falling all the day.

So I dream of summer sun,

Days so warm with lots of fun.

Early morn with sun so bright,

Shines on all, it’s golden light.

The leaves are then all aglow,

Flowers bright put on a show.

Butterflies go here and there,

Spreading color everywhere.

Singing loud are birds so bright,

Starting e’en before it’s light.

All of this and so much more,

Does summer give, from it’s store.

    • Thank you Eugenia! It’s cold here, -31F! Too cold! Enjoy the flurries. Or not. That’s a long way down for snow isn’t it?πŸ€”πŸ˜€πŸ˜Ίβ›„β˜•β˜•

      • We get snow in this area about every two to three years. We live in North Georgia and about 45 minutes from The Blue Ridge Mountains. It’s not unusual for us to get some snow.

  2. This reminds me Olaf character from Disney, frozen, that character loves summer and that character sing a song too about summer “Bees’ll buzz
    Kids’ll blow dandelion fuzz
And I’ll be doing whatever snow does
    In summer
    A drink in my hand
My snow up against the burning sand
    Prob’ly getting gorgeously tanned
In summer” Hope you liked it ✨☺️ don’t thank me i don’t know the author yet😜
