Good morning and Happy Sunday! It’s not quite so cold this morning and we might even get to see the sun for a little while today. That’s always a nice treat. And Muffin will be happy too, she can sleep in her patch of sunshine again. She did that the other day and followed the sun around to her 3 favorite spots. I guess the bird’s natural food supply must be getting low now. They are around at the feeders most of the day. Except when I go out to take pictures. It happened again, the feeders were full of birds and there was many more in the trees waiting their turn. I went out with my camera and…there was not a bird in sight anywhere. I waited for 20 minutes and no birds showed up, so I came back inside. It wasn’t 5 minutes and the feeders were full of birds again. Amazing.
But sometimes the birds cooperate more, especially in the summer…
Like this mother merganser, having a bad hair day, and her ducklings down by the river last summer.
And this white pelican with his extra large beak, also down at the river last summer.
I always enjoy looking at summer pictures in the winter, or any time for that matter. I hope you have a wonderful Sunday and God bless!
Steve and Muffin.
