Good morning everyone!  Well, here we are, half way through another week.  I hope your day is going well.  Muffin is having a great morning again, running wild and jumping around.  At least she gets good exercise doing this twice a day.  Not much else to do is what she is saying.  Still too cold to have the windows open.  And the chipmunks are not around yet.  But we finally have another squirrel that is brave enough to come up to the door and get some peanuts.  And walnuts.  These walnuts are from my landlord’s walnut tree which had a huge crop of them last year.  I have a big box of them which I am now putting out for this little squirrel and he is happily hauling them away.  There is another squirrel too, but that one won’t come into the yard.  The fence seems to be the edge of his territory and he won’t cross it, not even for peanuts.  Amazing really.  Maybe when he sees this other one hauling those big walnuts away, then he might decide to come over and get some too.

And let’s start with this brilliant white peony.  My landlord has a couple of these peony plants in white and they are very nice, large flowers indeed.IMG_5239

And now for this extra big pink hollyhock with a bee hiding her head drinking up that nice nectar and unaware that I am taking her pic.  Which is good, considering how close I was at the time.

      Thanks Jyoti! You like walnuts?🤔 These are very good and the squirrels love them.😁
      Peanuts are legumes, which means they are related to peas and beans, they are not nuts at all. And they grow underground on plants that look similar to pea plants. I have actually grown them myself when I had a garden.😁🥜🌱

      • I don’t grow the peanuts now, no room for a garden here unfortunately.😕 The chipmunks would probably be digging them up anyway! Of course that would save me the trouble of harvesting them since they would be going to the chipmunks anyway.😂😹

      • Okay, I got it now and I’ll try to remember.🤔 I think. 🙄Our town is almost completely shut down now😬 except grocery stores, but their shelves are completely empty.😲 Have never seen that in my entire life.😳 A new way of living for awhile. Muffin and I are enjoying the sunshine today!😁😸🌞

      • You too, our city is shut down till March 31st , roads are free, birds are free animals are free 😄😄😄 Nature is back for a while ☺️👌 I’m very much enjoying this now 🥰

      • We’re shut down indefinitely, though they will reassess the situation April 6. I had to get my medication today and the pharmacy was closed so I couldn’t get it. There is an emergency way to get it but not until tomorrow. A day without my medication throws me into extreme pain. Our new way of life, we’ll get used to it, but some advance notice would be nice.😕 Yep, I can watch my birds and a squirrel,😀 Muffin is enjoying her sunshine.😻 It’s still a great day!😁😸🌞☕☕

      • Yes Steve, that’s a new ways of life, But many suffer for their medicines and daily supplies which is stopped or not in stock now. Hope government will do something about it. Take care, Stay safe Steve try to get that medicines Asap ✨🤗 You’ll get it.

      • Yes, the pharmacy called and I can get my medicine in the morning. I’m in a lot of pain right now. After tomorrow I guess I will be at home until I run out of food. No food to buy right now anyway. Hope you have a good day Simon!😃😺🌞
