For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Hi everyone!
Sorry I did not get this out earlier this morning, I was having trouble finding the photo I wanted to use. Anyway, here we have another bee to show you. This is the “Common Eastern Bumble Bee” and it is quite common. But the one we showed last time is even more common around here than this one. There is also another bumble bee that is much bigger, but I don’t think I have a photo of that one, they are not as friendly as the smaller ones. Have a great day and God bless!

Good morning, Steve! Fantastic photo of the bumblebee with all the pollen on it. It really shows how they can pollinate other flowers with so much pollen on them. π»π

You’re catching up, that’s where we were on the weekend with temps! We hit 39F today under cloudy skies,π but freezing rain coming tonight which is not good.ππ§

βΉοΈFreezing rain should be banned. Have either snow or warm ground so the rain does not freeze! Hope it melts soon.

As it turned out the temp stayed warm enough that the rain didn’t freeze. We didn’t get much either, which is okay. Today the sun is now shining and the temp is 41F already!π

Well, sometimes it’s necessary to mention if something that is called common is common because it’s not always the case to be common even though common. Like the common loon, around here it is very common to be a common loon, but in some places the common loon is rare, therefore it’s rarely common. So it’s important to say if the common eastern bee is common or not.π€ππ
