Insects. #10

Hi everyone!

Well, here we are with a wildflower for today as usual, but also with another flower fly enjoying itself on a daisy. This flower fly is the “Flower Fly, Eristalis Dimidiata”. This one is a bit larger than some of the other flower flies I have shown and one of the first to come out in the spring. They can be found flying about as early as the end of April, though not this year! And they are around all summer and into fall as well, helping to pollinate wildflowers and garden flowers too. Thank you for taking a look! Have a wonderful Sunday and God bless!
