The Investigators, Inc. The Major Case. Chapter 15. The Fight.

Storm saw the man behind Kristina get too close, so he let out one of his loud screams to warn her. Kristina knew what to do and twirled around out from between them and hit the man behind her on his hip with the club. Then she kicked the other man in the stomach, then in the head, knocking him down briefly. Then the third man came ashore, but he had a machete!

Kristina knew she was in trouble but continued fighting until the man with the machete knocked the club out of her hand. That is when Storm came running out and jumped on the back of one man, scratching vigorously! The man screamed and tried to reach Storm, but was unable to. Then Storm jumped off and ran to hide again.

Then one of them picked up a rock and threw it hard at Kristina’s back, hitting her right between the shoulder blades. She groaned and fell to her knees. That is when Storm jumped into action again, landing on the back of the rock thrower, scratching him hard which caused him to scream as well. Storm jumped down and disappeared once again.

Another man went looking for him, but Storm jumped on his back too, scratching him terribly!. Then Storm jumped off and ran behind the cabin. But he came right out and meowed=chop chop come! The man still in the boat took out a gun and shot at Storm, but missed him and he ran to hide again. That rock had really hurt Kristina and she was having trouble getting back on her feet.

The first man then kicked her, knocking her on the ground, then he went after her. Storm was about to try again, but, a loud voice boomed from the helicopter. “Stand down you men and get back in your boat, NOW!” said the voice. The man in the boat turned and shot at the chopper. But the Major has well-equipped helicopters, and this one shoots a small grenade, not too powerful, but it does the job anyway.

They shot back with this small grenade which landed next to the boat, causing it to tip and sending that gunman into the water. Then the voice came back, “I said stand down, get back in your boat and leave!” The men were a little more afraid now and started back to the boat. The chopper began to land and had the side door open with one man there who also had a gun, a bit more substantial than a handgun.

One of the attackers turned back and pulled out a knife to stab Kristina, but the man in the helicopter shot him before he had a chance. Storm had jumped up on the rock ready to attack the man with the knife, but he was happy he did not need to. The helicopter landed and the one man jumped out right away and made sure the other men left.

“Take your friend there with you!” he yelled out. They went and carried him back to the boat. “Hey man, he is dead!” called out one of them. “And what did you plan to do with your gun and knife boy?” the man asked. The other men got in their boat and left quickly after that. Kristina had gotten up and was leaning against the rock. “No need to worry Kristina, the Major sent us to pick you up,” said Frank.

Roy had jumped out and secured the chopper. “Where is Steve?” he asked. “In the cabin,” said Kristina weakly, “he is in a coma I think.” They carried me out to the chopper and helped Kristina get in. Storm ran and jumped in too, then off they went. Roy called back to the Major. “We got them Major,” he said, “but Steve is in a coma, and Kristina is hurt. Storm is fine.”

“Any other problems?” the Major asked. “Just some young guys that wanted to cause problems for Kristina,” said Roy, “but she was tossing them around quite nicely. One of them did hurt her though with a rock. But we sent them packing, one may have been killed.” “Well, they chose to play games with the wrong people,” said the Major, “oh, let Storm meow into the speaker, Sky would like to talk with him. How is Kristina now?”

Frank turned around, “she is beside Steve with her head on his chest.” Meowr.=Kristina do very good, she save Steve by herself, me only help a little. I tell more when I come, but me think you know already. This is not over yet…

  2. Storm ought to get an award for coming to the aid of Kristina ! 🥇 again it is stressful ! 😳 I hope you recover quickly ! 🕵️‍♂️😼👩🤕

    • Yes, Storm did a great job! Kristina has done well with teaching the cats new ways of fighting, like this “hide and seek”. Yes, all 3 of us need to recover, but it is worse for Angel and Carine right now I think. We will find out more tomorrow!🤔👩😼🕵️‍♂️

    • Hmm, but what is Storm really talking about? It sounds like he thinks Sky knows what it is, even though he has not said. He seems to be holding onto a secret that he is just not telling openly. But we will see, perhaps in the next chapter. Yes, we have had some serious injuries in this case. If Angel and Carine survive, they likely will not be going on active cases anymore. And I will be limited from now on as well. No more strenuous activities for me, I will do the coordinating instead. Perhaps some other changes coming up too.🤔👩😺🕵️‍♂️
