For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Good morning everyone! Happy Saturday to you all and welcome back to Weekend Wildflowers! These are wildflowers found in the northwest area of Ontario, Canada. I am sure they can be found in many other places too, like todays wildflower.
This is called “Bunchberry”, a small flower about 1 inch (2.5cm) across. The plant is small, that is short, generally about 4 to 8 inches tall (10 to 20cm), usually on the shorter end in this area. The flowers can be greenish-white to bright white. They produce red berries after flowering. Have a great weekend everyone and God bless!
