For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Good morning everyone on this cloudy and cool Tuesday! This will be short this morning. I found out last evening that my brother passed away. He and I were quite close and although we lived far apart we were always phoning and texting each other. So this is quite a loss for me, I will miss all that interaction each day.
Male Pileated Woodpecker at the suet feeder, female sitting on the walnut tree.
But I wanted to share some pics of the Pileated Woodpecker that I took yesterday. Actually, it was a pair of them around this time. I hope you enjoy. Muffin will have a post later which was written yesterday. She had a big loss as well. My mystery story will still come out since this next chapter is already written and scheduled to come out later.
Two more pics of the male Pileated Woodpecker.
I hope you all have a wonderful day and God bless!
