For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Happy Monday everyone! It is a nice chilly morning here at Steve’s Country. Yesterday was likewise chilly, plus snowy, plus very windy. It felt like winter out there. Oh, that is right, it is winter. That would explain why it felt that way. Oh well. Here is a nice summer time photo to enjoy.

This is the Greater Bee Fly. We have several different bee flies in our area and I have photos of most of them. This is the largest one we have and it is 5/8 inch (15mm) long, not including the long beak which it uses to suck up nectar from flowers. They are not bees, but flies and are harmless insects, they do not bite or sting. This one was enjoying some morning sunshine. Have a great Monday everyone and God bless!
