Steve’s Random Photo. #2024-12

Hello everyone! It is a nice, mostly sunny morning today, but it is definitely cool. It was just 36F (2C) this morning, but it should warm up to 54F (12C), which is not exactly warm for this time of year, but, there it is. And it is supposed to be cooler tomorrow. Well, today I came across one of my favorite pics of a tree down at the river.

White Pine, the sitting tree.

It appears to have gotten tired and decided to sit down on a rock, thus making itself a nice chair to sit on. It is a nice, tall and very healthy White Pine, with a few holes in it from woodpeckers removing bugs, which allows the tree to live on nice and healthy. Woodpeckers do not harm trees, but they do help the trees by removing the harmful bugs, usually ants, that infest the tree and eventually kill it. But this one does make a great photo of a sitting tree. I hope you enjoy it, have a great day and God bless!
