For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Looking out my cabin window,
At all these falling flakes of snow.
I stand here, gazing all around,
While snow, soon covers all the ground.
Pine trees that once were darkest green,
Are turning white, with snow so clean.
Snowflakes, now are falling so fast,
I wonder how long, it will last.
The snow continues through the night,
In the morning, ’tis quite a sight.
Now, while looking out my window,
I see these puffy mounds of snow.
Oh my, such beauty that I see,
The whitest landscape, waits for me.
