Just Some Pics. #13 Reflecting.

Greetings everyone! It turned out to be a rather nice day, though it was a bit cloudier than had been forecast. Still, it was 77F (25C), which is quite nice. However, tomorrow is going to be cooler at just 66F (19C). In early fall temperatures can fluctuate a lot from one day to the next.

And nights are much cooler now as well. That’s why so many of our birds have begun their southward migration already and some have gone completely. Summer is so short here. After our major international bass fishing tournament here last weekend suddenly the tourists have gone. There are still a few, but it’s not like it was. Things change so quickly in so many ways.

My plants are having some problems with bugs again. Spider mites and thrips are back once more so I have had to do some spraying of a few plants. Thankfully I noticed them early before they had multiplied too much.

Years ago the only thing I had to watch out for was spider mites, and they didn’t show up much. I never even heard of thrips until last year. Oh well.

The lake was so nice and calm that morning. Actually this is just a bay of the lake, it continues through that narrow section seen across the bay and opens into a large lake.
