For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Welcome back everyone to the continuing tour of my place! I wanted to have this out much sooner today but for some reason it was just one thing after another today and, I’m late. Well, later than I wanted to be anyway. But, the good news is that today is going to be a bit shorter than my usual posts. As I mentioned yesterday, if you happened to miss that post, I am starting something a little different and will be posting Monday to Friday, though Tuesday and Thursday will be a little different. Such as today’s tour, or continuing tour. Or something. Sigh. My brain isn’t thinking right. I know what you’re thinking, that’s not nice.
The idea for this tour of my place was suggested to me by a wonderful young woman and very good friend, Ilona! She has been a real help to me over the last little while in my blogging journey with many good tips. You can find her blog over at https://easydiet.blog and now, let’s get started with the first pictures which show some closeup views of my blue and white dishes.

I like blue and white dishes, though I doubt I would take them on a long distance move! Probably end up with a lot of pieces! Next I would like to share my antique kerosene lamps which are also some favorites. What isn’t?

Then I would like to finish off with a few more pics of my collection of old board games. And I still have several others besides the ones I have shown but I don’t have the space to display all of them. Sigh. Old games are fascinating pieces of the past, they are colorful and even fun to play!

Guess that’s it for today everyone, thank you for joining me on another little tour of my place and I hope to see you back here tomorrow for something different! Until then, enjoy your evening and God bless!

Good morning Bruce and thanks for reading! I have learned how to use every available inch of space, right up to the ceiling. And this isn’t close to half of it! More on Thursday.😃

What classic pieces!
I remember my mother having plates such as yours. Until you posted this, I had completely forgotten about them. Those lanterns are just fabulous!
Boy they’d make for an adventurous mystery story!!! Suggestion maybe?
Thanks for showing me around 🙂

Hi Nova, thanks for taking the time to read, much appreciated! I love mysteries, but I’m just not good at writing, wish I could do things like that. But who knows, maybe I’ll try one day.😀

The kerosene lamps are gorgeous. You have a very discerning taste, my friend.

Thank you for your reading, they are nice lamps, but I’m not sure if I have discerning taste, just kind of buy what I like. Have a great day!

I love this! The Kerosene lamps do give an Aladdin feeling and I’m obsessed with Monopoly (even though it’s a century-old game), which my cousins and I have a GREAT time playing!

Thank you for reading Ilona! The dishes are a favorite of mine too, love that blue! I wanted to have something so the pictures would show better, otherwise they get lost in the background of other stuff! My pleasure Ilona!😄

Steve. I love the blue and white dishes. My late aunt had them and we loved and remember her hospitality.

I do use them sometimes, a couple of them anyway, but they had to be clean for the picture! Thanks so much for taking the time to read!😃
