An Eagle’s View…A Poem.

AN EAGLE’S VIEW

As I survey the land below,

Wondrous beauty is there I know.

Viewing the lakes that are spread out,

Such beauty causes me to shout.

An eagle’s view is what I see,

And stretching out in front of me,

Vast forest going far away,

An awesome sight I see this day.

So full of wonder is this sight,

With sun shining so very bright.

It causes me to stand in awe,

Of this beauty that I just saw.

It makes me feel so very small,

And humbled, as I view it all.

Such things not seen from the ground,

And yet it’s there, all around.

  1. I love your way with words. I don’t know if I said that before. I probably did, actually. But either way, it’s true. I do. You have a way with words I wish I could find within myself.
