Good morning everyone on this another frigid morning here in the north country! Still, this winter is not as bad as the last 3 winters, at least so far. But it’s still cold. It’s -25C (-13F), but feels like -35C (-31F) with the wind. Too cold to be outside to enjoy things. In summer it’s possible to just walk outside and enjoy the warmth. Now it’s necessary to put on layers of clothes, heavy jackets, winter boots, gloves, winter hat. And I’m not even outside for very long. I was outside for a while this afternoon trying to get pictures of birds who did not want to cooperate today. Sigh. Then back inside for another cup of hot coffee and a warm Muffin by my side. Not bad at all. So, now on to the pictures…
Nothing brighter than some nice daffodils on a cold winter day.
And a lovely single beauty of lavender phlox smiling so cheerfully on a warm summer day to warm up a cold winter day.
Thanks once again for joining me here this morning for some bright country smiles. I hope you all have a wonderful Tuesday and God bless!
Steve and Muffin.
