Lavender phlox

Hello everyone!  Well, it’s not so cold this morning, a welcome change for sure.  Okay, it’s not exactly warm out there, but at least I don’t freeze solid as soon as I step outside the door.  So that is a definite plus.  And even milder weather is on the way, for a few days at least, and that will be very nice.  Especially standing outside trying to get pics of these birds.  Some have been cooperating nicely, others are a bit shy.  However, some challenge is a good thing sometimes, if it was too easy it wouldn’t be any fun.  Too much challenge can work the opposite way though.  That’s where flowers and certain insects are so nice, like the following…IMG_5004

Here we have another look at that colorful bee, this time on a lavender bachelor’s button that is starting to fall apart with age.  The bee doesn’t seem to mind though.IMG_5373

Here we have another bee all covered with pollen from his favorite hollyhock flower.

    • Yes, that’s true, flowers are great that way. You should be able to buy the plants at your local nursery in the spring. Might even be able to grow from seeds, not sure how well it would work. But when the flower seeds show up in the store take a look if there are any.

  7. They did! Just like pillows and bedcovers 😁 wait, yes, I’m feeling a little sleepy now. Time to turn off my laptop, i still have fee more mins to work and more yawning to do looking at my file transfer speed🙄😒. Hope your day is awesome ✨🤗💐

    • Better get to bed then Simon. Thanks, it’s milder, but high humidity today so it feels cold still. Heavy clouds too so it’s very dull day, not good for getting pics with my camera, but I tried a bit anyway. The trees are so nice and frosty today, would look great if the sun was shining. Sigh. Maybe the sun will come out later.
